I work primarily in acrylic and graphite to create joyous pieces that will bring warmth and life to any space.While I have spent my life admiring the art of others, I am a relatively recent convert to painting and drawing, taking up visual art around 8 years ago. What began as a fun, mindful time, has become a passionate obsession. Every moment I can, I dedicate myself to creating art. I am striving to find that perfect combination of form, pattern and colour, constantly seeking to explore and develop my painting technique.
I was delighted to win the People's Choice Award at the 2024 Geelong Art Show with this large still life, one of my favourites!
It was also a wonderful compliment to receive a 'Highly Commended' from Jason Smith, (then Director of Geelong Gallery) at the 2024 Birregurra Art Show.
I am so loving finding my way as an artist and allowing my creativity to flow out onto the canvas or page. I hope others will take some pleasure from experiencing my artwork in their own home. It brings me such joy and I hope I can share that with my community.
